Website operation and security

This website has no user accounts, contact forms or newsletters. Our servers process the technical information sent with your request, including your IP address, requested URL and request headers, to deliver the website. Microsoft Azure Application Insights collects server-side diagnostics, including request times, URLs, response codes, durations, operation identifiers, dependency calls and error information. Approximate country or city information may be derived from an IP address. Application Insights masks IP addresses by default before storing its telemetry; this does not mean that an IP address is never processed when you connect to the website.

The purpose is to maintain availability, investigate errors and protect the website against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical request data is necessary to deliver the page. Application Insights telemetry is retained for 90 days in a Log Analytics workspace in Azure's Poland Central region.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use browser analytics, analytics cookies or browser storage to track visitors. Diagnostics are collected on the server to maintain availability and security.

Service providers and international transfers

We use Microsoft Azure for hosting and diagnostics. Microsoft and its authorised subprocessors process data to provide these services. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

The location of our Azure telemetry does not exclude limited processing or support access outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Microsoft describes the applicable safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, in its Products and Services Data Protection Addendum. See also Microsoft's information about transfers outside the EU Data Boundary.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Data portability applies where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

Right to object: you may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will stop that processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If we cannot identify your records in technical telemetry, we will explain this and may ask for information necessary to handle your request. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO), or another competent supervisory authority in the EU.
